We have several in our library. ;-) Gotta love the late 80s look.

Same here. We have some in our library that were probably bought around the time I was an undergraduate, and that was a long time ago. ALA really needs a new campaign, like pronto. And no, I don't have them at home, though that one with the superheroes looked pretty cool for my workstation at home.

Yes, but this doesn't include the cool "batgirl" one, does it?? She's a redhead librarian...like me, I love it! Ok, so what if that makes me the doofus librarian of the year...oh well!

For the most part I think they're pretty cheesy. However, I've considered putting the Orlando Bloom one across from the reference desk, so I would have something good to look at when I'm bored, or annoyed by patrons.

What about the Slay Literacy at the Library poster with the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I love that poster.

I think it is imperative that people STOP encouraging people to read. I mean how are we going to get the USA ready for a police state with all these literacy posters in peoples houses.

At my last place of employment, we had the Fabio poster on the wall of our Tech Services department. Needless to say, there weren't any men working there.

A co-worker and I had that ollllld one of Harrison Ford hanging between our desks, but he disappeared when we did some renovations. I wonder who took him home...

The ALA is producing some new ones with people like Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom, Colin Farrell, Tony Hawk, Britney Spears, etc. on them. I'd hang Colin Farrell on my wall anyway. Well, okay, I'd hang it on the ceiling above my bed any day or night, but still...

I have been looking for that Buffy TVS poster for YEARS. If anyone has one stored away I would love to purchase it.

My husband thought I was crazy, but I bought the Hugh Laurie one, framed it -- yes, I did! -- and hung it on the wall in my office over my little reading chair. I personally love it. ;o)

However, a poster of Alec Baldwin from 1990 is an excellent decoration for the hallway outside your staff bathroom.
