Meetings, Escaping from

It is perfectly acceptable for a librarian to fake a small bladder to escape from a meeting, workshop, or conference presentation. If you play the part convincingly enough, you can even angle for a "handicapped parking" spot.

The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook: WORK says if you leave the meeting for the bathroom enough times, you can disappear and no one will notice.

The position of a chair in conjunction to the nearest exit as well as allowing you to pass in front of as few people as possible is always key to deciding where to sit in a meeting. (I need an equation for this...)

While I don't leave for the day, I find once you do leave for that restroom break no one really notices that you've been tooling around at the vending machines for the past half hour.
