Valentine's Day, Preparing for

As Valentine's Day approaches, librarians should begin reviewing and updating the library's prohibitions against public displays of affection, the viewing of explicit online content, and the reading of terrible love poetry.

How well do you think a security tape catching people in the act of bibliophilia will sell?

I dealt with an inebriated patron kissing a biography of Queen Elizabeth II, which featured her picture on the cover. “Do you know who she is? Oh, she’s a great old lady,” he said. Thankfully there was no tongue.
