Skills, Assessing your librarian

Your proficiency as a librarian can be measured solely through your ability to un-jam a printer without getting toner on your hands.

Oh, come, now. Box of disposable plastic gloves, standard equipment. Should be sitting there, right next to the box of chocolates and the samovar of hot, freshly brewed tea, in every library. ;)

My favorite is when the (preferably magenta) toner dust "poofs" at you and your shirt is sprinkled with hot pink blobs. Forever after.

I thought that's what clerks were for. Seriously, I'm a klutz when it comes to removing paper jams.
