Gamy, Smelling

Celebrate the American Library Association's National Gaming Day by spending an entire day playing Minesweeper, Solitaire, or Call of Duty: Black Ops on your office computer.  If your library doesn't endorse the rather obvious arcade-library connection, you can always celebrate by playing mind games with your colleagues and patrons instead.

Ask the Readers: How will you celebrate National Gaming Day @ your library?

Rock Band 3 on our big screen, plus Super Street Fighter IV, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Wii Sports, and a bunch of board games. I will likely bring my Magic: the Gathering cards and take on all comers. Who knows? We might get wild and bust out the Zombie Fluxx. I love National Gaming Day!

And I fully endorse this playing of Call of Duty: Black Ops on my office computer.

Borderlands must have some library-themed DLC.

I really wish there were 'like' buttons on blogs! This post is too funny.

Seeing as I spent the last 2 years of National Game Day playing Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, random board games and Operation with a ton of rambunctious kids, I'm going to sit at home this year and drink wine. At 10am. And NOT listen to kids sing 'We Will Rock You' or 'Ghostbusters' on Rock Band for the 35th time.
