Staplers, Honoring fallen

Librarians should observe a moment of silent reflection every time a stapler is broken at the reference desk.

I have often said that our students should pass an exam and be licensed before being allowed to use our staplers. :oD

How about unreturned library books?!

I think if we held a moment of silence for unreturned books, we may get that kind of library that certain users dream about, the one where absolutely no sound is uttered or made.
