Library 2.0, Believing in
Never admit that Library 2.0 doesn't really exist. To do so is to admit that the emperor has no clothes cardigan.

It must exist, otherwise all of these library conferences couldn't exist.
"Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?"
--Morpheus, from the film The Matrix.
So, how do we know Lib 2.0 exists, or is it just the dream world?
There's not a working day I don't get to wondering if it's all not just some strange, exotic dream...
What if library 2.0 only exists in Second Life? What if I'm only a pawn in some librarian's Second Life? Oh the horror.
Everytime I hear the phrase "Library 2.0" I experience an overwhelming urge to gouge out my eyes with a pencil.
I was going to forward this with someone I work with, but then I realized that she wouldn't get it.
If we believe Lib 2.0 like Tinkerbell doesn't exist, and don't clap our hands, won't it just die off...and leave a puddle or something?
Judging by the leavings in some of our libraries it's the "or something" that terrifies me.
It thinks, therefore it is.
Excellent revision.
Library 2.0 = me posting to discussion boards and groups that inrerest me, while I'm at work.
