Breasts, Looking at
When a fellow librarian tells you about a patron or coworker staring at her breasts, it is thereby acceptable for you to steal a glance at said breasts. But only for a second. Never touch them and say, "These?"

Thank you so much for calling attention to this problem. If someone grabs my breasts for the purpose of clarification one more time....
What if I'm visually impaired and just want to be sure...?
And don't say: "My God! Is that what they are?!?"
My shins bear the scars.
Another bad response is, "Why?"
I loved this. You made me look crazy--sitting alone at my desk and cracking up!
An even worse response is to be totally dismissive and say:
"Oh yeah, those....?"
Hm... I recently subjected a coworker to this conversation. He looked a bit puzzled as to why I would ever bring up my breasts to begin with. In hindsight, I think he was right to be puzzled.
But still, the students do look...and occasionally it IS funny.
