Love, Declaring your
Librarians should not embarrass themselves on Valentine's Day by declaring their love for the Fed-Ex delivery guy.

My wife wouldn't like it if I declared my love to the FedEx guy.
Come to think of it, I wouldn't like it if I did that.
Eight years deep into a rip-roaring love affair with the FedEx guy from my job, I can tell you that I highly encourage you to show your appreciation to all couriers (UPS needs love, too) as long as you 1)Don't make them go off schedule and 2)Keep your mitts off my man!
Not something I'd do myself but I can understand the motivation if it induces the Fed Ex guy to bring the boxes into the building rather than just dumping them on the doorstep.

...but I thought our love was pure?!?
Lilly Librarian's eyes smoulder and she crooks her finger at Mr. Fed Ex. She pulls her hairpins from her bun, and shakes loose the silky auburn mass across her shoulders. Lilly shrugs off her brown cardigan, revealing a red satin blouse. In a husky voice, Lilly asks Mr. Fed Ex if he would just step back to the stacks for a moment she would give him his Valentine's Day gift....
...a box of bent board books to be returned to the children's book supplier.
And they should especially not go on to their husbands about said love.

Personally, I have a little thing for the guy who comes in to fix the copy machines. He hasn't been around in quite a while. :(
Librarians are pathetic . One of our Reference Lib's is the joke of the library b/c she is besotted with the head tech guy. She calls him constantly and practically orgazes when he appears. Really sad.
