Thanks, Giving

Librarians should spend their Thanksgiving holidays reflecting on how lucky they are that they graduated and no longer have to complete ridiculous class assignments like those that they encounter daily at the reference desk.

I'm thankful that my reference desk shift ends in 10 minutes and that I don't have to come back until Monday.

I am thankful for working in a library where people aren't territorial about book carts. Nothing else here is functional, but at least we have that.

Thankful that we can keep up our image as being tech savvy, by repurposing blogs from the past (and also create a new definition for "re-gifting").
