Stapler, Loading the

The corollary is, keep a sharp eye on the stapler remover. They have a habit of dissappearing, causing the universere to be evelopled by black holes.

Or heaven help us if we run out of rubber bands.

Given the number of people that want to borrow paper clips, I think we should start barcoding them.

We had a patron who would boldly steal circ desk staplers at closing time. He must have had quite a collection of them. I tattle-taped under the rubber bottom of the newest stapler. When he set off the gate alarm and security - on hand to close the building - asked to see what was in his backpack, he was cured of that habit. Nor to mention that it was fun to watch.
