One shouldn't "Cyber" while at work.
Did that book, "This Book is Overdue..." make you think of this? My stomach turned when I saw "cybrarian" in the subtitle...I hate how this whole profession constantly comes off as the pitful loser trying to be cool.
I used to fulminate against words like "burglarize" (it's "burgle"!) and "prioritize" (it's "order by priority"!). Finally I decided that hey, language changes over time. Sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. But it changes, and I'm not going to stop the tide.
Only a cybrarians should be included as a subset of the cyborg groupings of humans.
Seriously. I cannot say enough how sick I am of that crap.
