Up, Beaming yourself

It is never, under any circumstances, appropriate for a librarian to come to work dressed in a Star Trek uniform.

Should I just wear my Vulcan ears with civilian clothes then?

Isn't there some bandwagon we can get on?

Ahem. Not only is it appropriate for a librarian to dress in a Star Trek uniform but the librarian should constantly inform the patron of what is logical and what is not. It is logical for patrons to pay their fines, it is not logical for them to refuse to pay their fines. :)

Not even on Zefram Cochrane's birthday??!!! (Feb. 9.)

What about female library staffers who get tattoos of Trek communicators on their body where an actual Trek communicator would go on a uniform? And then insist on showing it off? Put that away, no one wants to see that.

Not uniforms!! You have been talking to my director again haven't you?

What about my Princess Leia dress complete with side bun hairstyle? That's Star WARS, not Star TREK, so that's ok, right?

Not even for Halloween, when they make everyone dress up anyway? And what about chicks in TOS uniforms? They have short skirts, and if you have the legs, then why not? (This is not sexist- I am one of the chicks who owns one such uniform...)
