If a colleague calls you "a librarian's librarian," it is perfectly acceptable to punch him or her in the mouth.

Anonymous said...: I don't know. All I do know is that some of these older living stereotype-type librarians need to retire quick. I worked with an awful women today who claimed to be a refernece librarian, and the whole time pretty much everything she did/said made me think over and over again: "Really? Someone thought it was a good idea to let you near patrons? Really?"; 2:55 PM
