Librarians should spend their Thanksgiving holidays reflecting on how lucky they are that they graduated and no longer have to complete ridiculous class assignments like those that they encounter daily at the reference desk.

I'm thankful that my reference desk shift ends in 10 minutes and that I don't have to come back until Monday.
The ability to continually renew my books until I can find them to return them.
I'm thankful that I had a 1-day work week.
I'm thankful that I'm retired.
Getting paid to do things I love doing.
I am thankful for working in a library where people aren't territorial about book carts. Nothing else here is functional, but at least we have that.
This blog.
I am thankful I am graduating in December and was lucky to get a job!
Having a job to pay for lots of booze.
I am thankful for recently discovering the joys of blogging.
That my lovely American librarian friend Leonee put on a thanksgiving for us!
I'm thankful I get off OCLC in an hour for a 6-day weekend!!
Thankful that we can keep up our image as being tech savvy, by repurposing blogs from the past (and also create a new definition for "re-gifting").
