Ratios, Librarian to student
A librarian should never teach a class of twenty-five students to do research. It is much more rewarding to teach them individually, one hour each, twenty-five separate times at the reference desk.

actually I do find one-on-one instructional sessions better because I get better feedback
It also helps if the Librarian has never seen the assignment before AND it is vague and confusing.
It's also important for the instructor to not show up for the class.
... You don't happen to work in Indiana... Do you?
Are you crazy!!??? Oh wait this is satire. Nevermind.
